Within the framework of the state program of housing and communal development «Nurly Zher» for 2020-2025 in Kostanay region in 2020, funds were allocated in the amount of 10.2 billion tenge for the implementation of 37 projects, including rural water supply-7.0 billion tenge (RB - 5.2 billion, MB – 1.8 billion) for the implementation of 27 projects, urban water supply – 2.2 billion tenge (RB - 1.9 billion, MB – 0.3 billion) for the implementation of 6 projects, urban water disposal – 1.0 billion tenge (RB – 0.5 billion, MB – 0.5 billion) for the implementation of 4 projects.
As of September 1, 2020, 6.98 billion tenge have been disbursed or 68.4% of the allocated amount for the year (10.2 billion).
This year, out of 37 projects, 16 projects are planned to be put into operation, including 14 water supply projects (13 – rural, 1 - urban) and 2 urban sanitation projects.
By the end of 2020, it is planned to:
- connect 12 villages with a population of 9,5 thousand people to the centralized water supply for the first time (in Altynsarinsky – 5 villages (3,3 thousand people), B. Maylin district-1 village (0,5 thousand people), Denisovsky – 1 village (1,0 thousand people), Karabalyksky-4 villages (1,9 thousand people) and Fedorovsky districts-1 village (2,8 thousand people);
- start work on the construction of water treatment and distribution points for 13 villages (amangelda, Dzhangelda, Kostanay, Sarykol and Fedorovsky districts), of which 2 villages with a population of 855 people will already receive high-quality water from the water treatment and distribution point in 2020. (Kabyrga of amangelda district and Sevastopol of Sarykol district);
- improve water supply in 3 villages with a population of 12.7 thousand people.
- in 2 cities, worn-out sections of water and sewer networks (Kostanay and Arkalyk) will be repaired.
In general, by the end of 2020, the provision of water supply to villages will increase from 33.5% to 36.3%, and for the rural population from 61.7% to 65%.
