In order to provide groundwater reserves for rural settlements in the Kostanay region, the following are carried out:
- prospecting and exploration work;
- additional exploration of deposits with revaluation of groundwater reserves.
In the Kostanay region, as of September 1, 2020, out of 529 settlements of the Kostanay region, groundwater reserves have been explored for 501, which is 92%.
In the period from 2015 to 2019, local executive bodies carried out prospecting and exploration work for 235 rural settlements and additional exploration of 14 groundwater deposits for 73 SNPs with the approval of reserves in total.
In the first half of 2020, design and estimate documentation was developed for prospecting and exploration work to provide groundwater reserves for the village of Alyoshinka in the Mendykarinsky region and design estimates for additional exploration with revaluation of groundwater reserves of 3 groundwater deposits (Kostychevskoye, Kostryakovskoye and Abayskoye MPV).
At present, the Office is carrying out additional exploration work with a reassessment of groundwater reserves of 5 deposits to provide water reserves for 15 rural settlements (Sadovy and Michurinskoye villages of Kostanay region, and a group of rural settlements of Fedorovsk and Dzhangeldinsky regions).
This year, it is planned to start prospecting and exploration work to provide groundwater reserves for the village of Alyoshinka in the Mendykarinsky district and additional exploration with a reassessment of groundwater reserves at 3 deposits to provide water reserves for 10 rural settlements of the Kostanay and Fedorov regions.
In 2021, it is planned to complete additional exploration with a reassessment of groundwater reserves of 4 deposits to provide 17 rural settlements of Kostanay, Fedorovsky and Dzhangeldinsky districts with water reserves.
