Information on the implementation of water supply and sanitation projects within the framework of State programs

Today, the total number of settlements in Kostanay region is 529, 9 of them are urban, 520 are rural.

Centralized water supply is provided to 97.8% of the urban population (497.9 thousand people). out of 509.1 thousand people) and 61.7% of the rural population (219 thousand people) or 33.5% of rural localities (174 villages).

346 villages (66,5%) use water from decentralized water sources (wells, boreholes) and imported water, or 38.3% of the rural population (136 thousand people). Besides, not provided with piped water villages 346, 47% is a small village with a population up to 200 people. (a total of 163 villages with a population of 16.8 thousand people, of which up to 100 people – 85 villages, from 100 to 200 people-78 villages). To provide small villages with high-quality drinking water, where there are no sources of water suitable for drinking, this year it is planned to organize the supply of drinking water. For these purposes, in 2020, the regional budget allocated funds in the amount of 375.7 million tenge for the purchase of 14 tankers (Altynsarinsky, Auliekolsky, B. Maylin district, Dzhangeldinsky, Karabalyksky, Fedorovsky 1 unit each, Karasu, Mendykarinsky Sarykolsky and Uzunkol districts-2 units each).

Centralized water disposal is available in 15 localities (9 – urban, 6 - rural).

One of the measures to improve the quality of life of the rural population is to address the issue of providing quality drinking water.

Works on construction and reconstruction of water supply systems are integrated from the State program for regional development until 2020 into the state program for housing and communal development "Nurly Zher" for 2020-2025. One of the objectives of this program is to ensure the rational provision of quality drinking water to the population.

Therefore, a priority is being developed for the water supply of villages with the largest population.

Within the framework of the state program of housing and communal development "Nurly Zher" for 2020-2025 in Kostanay region in 2020, funds in the amount of 10.2 billion tenge were allocated for the implementation of 36 projects, including:

- for rural water supply - 7.0 billion tenge (RB – 5.2 billion, MB – 1.8 billion) for the implementation of 26 projects;

- for urban water supply - 2.2 billion tenge (RB-1.9 billion, MB-0.3 billion) for the implementation of 6 projects;

- for urban water disposal-1.0 billion tenge (RB – 0.5 billion, MB – 0.5 billion) for the implementation of 4 projects.

This year, it is planned to put into operation 13 projects, rural water supply and 3 projects of urban water supply and sanitation, in which:

- for the first time, 14 villages with 10.5 thousand inhabitants will be connected to the centralized water supply and to water treatment and distribution points. (centralized water supply: Altynsarinsky district – 5 villages or 3.3 thousand people (Dokuchaevka, Shokai, novoalexeyevka, Krasny Kordon and Satay), Karabalyk district-4 villages or 1.9 thousand people (Burli, Rybkino, Nadezhdinka and Guryanovskoe), Denisovsky district-Antonovka village 1047 people, B. Maylin district – s.529 people. Valer'yanovka, Fedorovskiy rayon – S.Peshkovka 2787 people, water treatment and distribution points: Amangeldy district - kabyrga village 277 people, Sarykol district-s.Sevastopol 608 people);

- improved water supply in 3 villages, where 12.7 thousand people live. (Mendykarinsky district-Borovskoe 10440 people. and Pervomayskoe 1870 people, Denisovsky district-alchanovka village 378 people);

- improved water supply to the population of the village.Dacha city of Arkalyk, improved water disposal to consumers in Kostanay.

For the remaining 13 rural water supply projects and 7 urban water supply and sanitation projects, construction and installation work will continue in 2021.

According to the results of 2020, the provision of villages with a centralized water supply system in the region will increase from 33.5% to 36.1% (from 174 villages to 188), for the rural population from 61.7% to 64.7% (from 219.03 to 229.5 thousand people).

Reconstruction of water supply in Borovskoye and Pervomayskoye villages of Mendykarinsky district, with an estimated cost of 2,355. 3 million tenge. As a result of this project water supply in the villages of Borovskoye and Pervomayskoye will be improved;

Reconstruction of water supply in Antonovka village of Denisovsky district of Kostanay region with an estimated cost of 1289.58 million tenge. The project will provide centralized water supply to the village of Antonovka (currently a decentralized water supply system) and improve water supply in the village of Alchanovka;

Construction of a water pipeline in the village of Peshkovka in the Fedorovsky district of Kostanay region with an estimated cost of 1,712. 0 million tenge. The project will provide centralized water supply to Peshkovka village (currently a decentralized water supply system);

Construction of a water pipeline and distribution networks in Dokuchaevka village of Altynsarinsky district of Kostanay region, with an estimated cost of 779.3 million tenge. Implementation of the project will provide centralized water supply to the village.Dokuchaevka (currently a decentralized water supply system);

Construction of a water pipeline and breeding networks in Shokai village of Altynsarinsky district of Kostanay region, with an estimated cost of 615.1 million tenge. The project will provide centralized water supply to Shokai village (currently a decentralized water supply system);

Construction of a water pipeline and breeding networks in novoalexeyevka village, Altynsarinsky district, Kostanay region, with an estimated cost of 894.1 million tenge. The project will provide centralized water supply to the village of novoalexeyevka (currently a decentralized water supply system);

Construction of a water pipeline and breeding networks in the villages of Krasny Kordon, Satay of Altynsarinsky district of Kostanay region, with an estimated cost of 1,250,6 million tenge. The project will provide centralized water supply to Krasny Kordon and Satay villages (currently a decentralized water supply system);

Construction of water distribution networks in the village of Nadezhdinka, Karabalyk district, Kostanay region, with an estimated cost of 766.4 million tenge. The project will provide centralized water supply to the village of Nadezhdinka (currently imported water);

Construction of water distribution networks in the village of Burli, Karabalyk district, Kostanay region, with an estimated cost of 921.6 million tenge. The project will provide centralized water supply to Burli and s.Rybkino (currently a decentralized water supply system);

Construction of water distribution networks in the village of Guryanovskoye, Karabalyk district, Kostanay region, with an estimated cost of 588.9 million tenge. The project will allow providing centralised water supply S. Gurjanovae (currently decentralized water supply system);

Construction of water supply systems and distribution networks in Valerianovka village, Taranovsky district, Kostanay region, with an estimated cost of 506.9 million tenge. The project will allow providing centralised water supply village valeryanovka (currently decentralized water supply system);

Water supply of Kabyrga village in Amangeldy district of Kostanay region, estimated cost of 99.6 million tenge. The project will provide high-quality water supply from the water distribution and treatment point in Kabyrga village (currently a decentralized water supply system);

Water supply C.Sevastopol, Sarykol district, Kostanay region, with an estimated cost of 165.6 million tenge. Implementation of the project will provide high-quality water supply from the point of distribution and treatment of water in the village of Sevastopol (currently a decentralized water supply system).

List of 3 urban water supply and sanitation projects to be commissioned in 2020:

Reconstruction of water supply networks in the village of Dachny, Arkalyk, with an estimated cost of 439.2 million tenge;

Reconstruction of the gravity collector on V. Internationalistov street from arystanbekov street to Gashek street, Kostanay, with an estimated cost of 387.03 million tenge;

Reconstruction of a gravity sewer collector on the Embankment street within the boundaries of Pushkin street - shipin street in the city of Kostanay, with an estimated cost of 371.2 million tenge.

List of 13 rural water supply projects for which the SMR will continue in 2021:

Construction of a water pipeline in the village of Amankaragai of Auliekolsky district of Kostanay region with an estimated cost of 2931.35 million tenge, implementation years 2019-2021. The project will allow providing centralised water supply S. Amankaragay (currently decentralized water supply system);
Construction of water supply and distribution networks in the village of Yershovka, Uzunkol district, Kostanay region, with an estimated cost of 1,487. 5 million tenge, implementation years 2019-2021. The project will provide centralized water supply to the village of Yershovka (currently a decentralized water supply system);

Construction of distribution networks and water supply facilities in the villages of frunzenskoye and krasnoarmeyskoye in Denisovsky district of Kostanay region, with an estimated cost of 1026.4 million tenge, implementation years 2019-2021. The project will improve water supply in the village of frunzenskoye and provide centralized water supply to the village of krasnoarmeyskoye (currently a decentralized water supply system);

Reconstruction of water distribution networks in the villages of Karasu and East of Karasu district of Kostanay region, with an estimated cost of 2276.8 million tenge, implementation years 2019-2022. Implementation of the project will improve water supply in Karasu village and provide centralized water supply to the village.East (currently imported water);

Reconstruction of water supply networks in prirechnoye village of zhitikarinsky district with an estimated cost of 513.6 million tenge, implementation years 2020-2021. As a result of this project, the water supply in the village will be improved.Prirechnyj;
