By the order of the Chairman of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kazakhstan - Chief Mufti Nauryzbay Kazhy Taghanuly, Bektursyn Ualiev, who previously held the position of imam of the Maral Ishan Mosque in Kostanay, was appointed chief imam of the Kostanay region.
Head of the propaganda department of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kazakhstan Batyrzhan Mansurov introduced the newly appointed chief imam to the regional clergy and read out the order of the Chairman of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kazakhstan Nauryzbay Kazhy Taghanuly.
At the meeting with the participation of the chief imams of cities and districts, the head of the regional department for religious affairs Erlan Kalmakov also spoke and wished success to the new chief imam of the region.
