Social protection and employment of the population.
The following works are carried out on social protection and employment of the population:
- Implementation of the employment policy, identification of target groups and social measures for their protection, support for the creation of additional jobs through the development of individual entrepreneurship, small and medium-sized businesses, provision of social protection to the unemployed, organization of public works, creation of special jobs for the employment of disabled people, organization of social jobs, organization of youth practice, development of draft resolutions the district akimat in the fields of employment and social programs, the formation of the need for labor resources, the organization of employment and assistance in employment, the implementation of other activities that promote employment.
- Provision of public services in accordance with the current legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan,
- Implementation of the state policy in the field of providing special social services at home and in medical and social institutions.
- Provision of sanatorium treatment for the disabled, provision of prosthetic and orthopedic care, services of an individual assistant for the disabled of the first group with difficulty in movement, and a sign language specialist for the hearing impaired, wheelchairs, provision of sign language and mandatory hygiene products.
- Creating an accessible environment for the disabled.
- For low-income families: the appointment of state targeted social assistance, housing assistance, social assistance to certain categories of needy citizens by decisions of local representative bodies.
- Registration of citizens affected by nuclear tests at the Semipalatinsk nuclear test site, payment of one-time state monetary compensation, issuance of certificates.
- Issuance of a certificate to a rehabilitated person.
