Tasks:

implementation of the state policy in the field of culture;
creating conditions for the study and development of languages;

ensuring the safety of life and health of persons engaged in physical culture and sports, as well as participants and spectators of physical culture and recreation and sports events;

development of national, technical and applied sports;

promoting the development of all sports, taking into account social and educational functions, as well as the specifics of their structure based on the principle of voluntary activity;

other tasks provided for by the current legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
