A representative of the district information and explanatory group, G.P. Morgul, told residents about the activities of destructive religious organizations, methods of recruitment into them and counteraction measures, about religious radicalism - a factor of public threat and instability. The meetings were attended by employees of LLP, KH, IP and education workers of the Arkhangelsk rural district.
Galina Pavlovna focused the attention of the participants of the meetings on the state policy of Kazakhstan, the regulatory framework and the concept of "secularism" on the importance of maintaining interfaith dialogue for the sustainable development of the state.
The purpose of these meetings is to develop skills to counteract recruitment into destructive religious movements and to form a negative attitude to their ideological influence.
Eg: A radical preacher who was wanted by Russian law enforcement officers for participating in terrorist activities and was on the international wanted list through Interpol has been detained in Turkey. According to the security forces, under the guise of sermons, the preacher secretly recruited young people to finance and participate in the activities of terrorist organizations.
