On August 02 of this year, members of the information and explanatory group on religious issues held a meeting among the fighters of the labor detachments "Zhasyl El" in the village of Tobol.
The children were told about the secularism of the state, respect and tolerance for the diversity of religions, the secular type of humanism in society, about what forms a secular citizen, a patriot of his country, who loves his country and at the same time does not exclude the position of strengthening national culture and traditional religions for this country.
Kazakhstan is a secular state. This provision reflects the attitude of the Kazakh state to religion, according to which no religion can be established as state or compulsory, and religious associations are separated from the state and equal before the law (the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan). The State ensures the freedom of legitimate activity of religious associations, but does not interfere with the determination of citizens.
