The State Revenue Committee has developed and put into effect on January 1, 2022 the e-Salyq Business mobile application. The new digital solution is designed to make it easier for individual entrepreneurs to fulfill their tax obligations, which is especially convenient for newly registered entrepreneurs. This was reported in the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan The application is designed to simplify the fulfillment of tax obligations and obligations on social payments by individual entrepreneurs applying a special tax regime using a special mobile application or on the basis of a simplified declaration in accordance with the provisions of the Tax Code that have entered into force since the beginning of this year. In addition, the Committee has developed a draft Order of the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which provides for the possibility of using, as part of a pilot project, the functionality of the application for entrepreneurs applying a special tax regime based on a patent. Currently, the Draft Order is being finalized taking into account proposals, including those received from the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Atameken", as well as comments on the results of the anti-corruption expertise of the project. The functionality of the application allows you to register as an individual entrepreneur, select and change the tax regime, issue checks, create a register of income and keep records of employees' income so that the application automatically calculates obligations for taxes and social payments and fills out the relevant Simplified Declaration deadlines. Entrepreneurs applying a special tax regime based on a patent, becoming users of the e-Salyq Business mobile application, are exempted from submitting the Calculation of the cost of a patent and paying taxes and social payments in advance (upfront), even before receiving income. The amounts of individual income and social taxes calculated by the application can be paid directly in the mobile application using integration with the Halyk Bank service published in the Electronic Government Payment Gateway. In addition, for the convenience of entrepreneurs, the Tax Wallet services are available in the application (including for viewing and repaying debts, managing overpayments), receiving a number of notifications from state revenue authorities, as well as a service for terminating an individual entrepreneur in a simplified manner. The application is available in the "Play Market", "App Store" and "App Gallery". The application will be improved, as far as possible, this year as well, in terms of expanding the functionality, including on the proposals of entrepreneurs who participated in the pilot project held at the end of last year in Akmola and Zhambyl regions. As an example, this year it is planned to carry out work on the exchange of data on labor contracts with the relevant information system of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection for the accounting of labor contracts with employees of individual entrepreneurs.
