Oratory, the ability to convince and navigate the problems of the modern world - such qualities today must be possessed by every young person in order to build a successful career. It was in these aspects that schoolchildren and students of the Kostanay region competed in the recently held one speech competition "Polylog 2021". This event became possible thanks to the support of the Akimat of the Kostanay region and the Department of the Anti-Corruption Agency in the Kostanay region.
According to the organizers, this is not the first time such debate tournaments have been held in the region. They have become traditional and have collected a number of positive reviews, both from youth representatives and among the public in the person of journalists and bloggers.
"Competitions of this format are successfully held in America and Europe. We are glad that a similar tournament of the regional level will be held for our children as well" - the head of the Sinergy scientific and educational center and concurrently the chief judge of the competition Ruslana Brovchenko shares her impressions - "Time for performance children are limited - strictly five minutes. Our event is "open", which is why both high school students from district schools and students from a local college will compete in the same competition program. We hope that this will increase the coverage of participants and will inspire even more speakers to demonstrate their new and bold ideas. "
Topics from social to economic have been prepared for the speakers. At the speaker competition, the main thing is not only to speak beautifully, but also to succinctly tell about the problems of the modern world. Each performance is assessed by the jury according to three criteria: form, content and oratorical style.
According to the results of the competition, the grand prix of the event was awarded to the speech of Zhursin Abylaikhan on the importance of knowing and understanding one's own history.
According to the organizers, such contests will be held frequently, because sometimes it is important for young people to simply be heard.
