1.2 trillion tenge will be allocated to increase the salaries of education workers within three years. This was announced by the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. The Head of State also noted that in the conditions of global changes, it is likely that the knowledge obtained in educational institutions will become outdated before the graduate enters the labor market. The President focuses on the importance of professional development of teachers: now teachers will be trained at free courses at least once every three years. The education system needs motivated qualified teachers, the head of the country notes.
The head of the Education Department, Aigul Alimbayeva, shared her vision of how the President's Message will affect the educational system of the Beimbet Maylin district.
- The entire pedagogical community of the Beimbet Maylin district listened to the President's Message, which was delivered on September 1. On the holiday-the Day of Knowledge – we received a new impetus.
Special priorities were identified in the Message for education. Next year, it is planned to increase the salaries of employees of the sphere by 25%, which, of course, encourages the arrival of new teachers to work in our schools.
In addition, the issues of the socially vulnerable category, i.e. providing assistance to children from the universal education fund, were touched upon. We are engaged in this work, it is in our system, but in connection with the Message, we will strengthen it and consider new opportunities in the future 2022, putting new funds into the budget.
The President touched upon such a direction as the passage of retraining courses by teachers not once every five years, but every three years. I also agree with the head of state, as a lot of changes are taking place in the world and in educational policy, in particular. Accordingly, this step is very important.
The Message raises the question of how to develop the Digital Teacher project. I think that in the era of the coronavirus pandemic, it is very relevant and would give support to our teachers in the development of distance education. Probably, this is necessary so that our children "do not run away from schools," as the president said, but on the contrary strive to gain knowledge. By the way, I would like to note that in the 2020-2021 academic year, seven schools of the district worked in a remote format, but we did not notice such children who would run away from school and made every effort to ensure that one hundred percent coverage of children was made. I hope we have coped with this task.
Aigul Alimbayeva also notes that the priorities outlined in the new Presidential Address in the field of education will give the pedagogical community confidence that they are working in the right direction.
