Dear taxpayers, according to the decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On determining the list of goods subject to labeling" dated September 10, 2020 No. 568 in the Republic of Kazakhstan from October 1, mandatory labeling of tobacco products (filter cigarettes) has been introduced since April 1, 2021, other types of tobacco products , a group of goods for which digital marking applies has been determined.
By order of the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated September 28, 2020 No. 927, the Rules for the labeling of tobacco products were approved.
The labeling rules determine the procedure for labeling tobacco products by means of identification and their further traceability in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In accordance with the Labeling Rules, the Manufacturer labels tobacco products manufactured in the Republic of Kazakhstan in accordance with the requirements of the Labeling Rules.
The importer shall ensure the labeling of tobacco products manufactured outside the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan before being imported into the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan or before placing tobacco products under the customs procedures for release for domestic consumption or re-import.
At the same time, the Labeling Rules stipulate that the remains of unmarked tobacco products as of the date of introduction of mandatory labeling are subject to sale by turnover participants within one calendar year from the date of introduction of mandatory labeling.
Any turnover of tobacco products is possible only with the use of a 2D scanner, which reads the necessary data and allows it to be transferred to the fiscal data operators. At the same time, if an entrepreneur is already using a 2D scanner in his work, then there is no need to purchase a new one.
