On February 28, a republican debate tournament was held in Kostanay, organized by the project office "Sanaly urpaq" at the Kostanay Regional University named after A. Baitursynov together with the Department of the Anti-Corruption Agency in the Kostanay region.
This year the tournament brought together 28 teams from three cities of Kazakhstan. The games were held in the British parliamentary format, according to which the European and World Championships are held today. "
For example, in one of the resolutions of the tournament, the “institute of resignation” dropped out, here the debaters argued about the need to bear responsibility for the first heads of state bodies for the corruption offenses of their subordinates.
“The tournament organized within the Sanaly Urpak project is aimed at forming the principles of justice, honesty and integrity,” comments Daniyar Smagulov, First Deputy Head of the Anti-Corruption Department, according to him, through the format of debate tournaments, youth will be involved in various state processes , there is an opportunity to study them and make suggestions, - "This, in turn, allows you to see all the risk areas, therefore, in the future they will be ready to face this in real life, but are already able to overcome them."
According to the results of the tournament, the team from Nur-Sultan, consisting of Aikenov Daulet and Ersayin Omirbay, took the first place in the team competition.
The winner of the "Final of Young Teams" was the team of the Akmola region consisting of Yatsenko Anastasia and Ospanova Miruert.
The best player of the tournament was recognized a student of the Kostanay Regional University named after A. Baitursynov Nurgaliev Diaz.
