The State Revenue Department for the Beimbet Maylin District reports that online scammers continue to send fake messages with the subject line "Warning about the need for immediate tax payment" to email addresses or, using a well-known scheme, call posing as state revenue officials and informing them of a supposedly missing tax return (Form 270) or an unpaid alcohol license fee.
Currently, the scammers are posing as couriers, claiming that the taxpayer has a letter from the tax office. They offer to deliver the letter to the address, supposedly by paying the KGD (tax office). They send a message from "Enbek.kz" to the victim's phone number from number 1414, containing a code with a six-digit number, and ask them to provide it to complete the process.
We urge citizens to be vigilant, not to trust unreliable emails, not to click on dubious links, not to dictate codes and numbers, to verify the authenticity of received messages, and not to fall for scammers' provocations and tricks.
Use only official sources to obtain information about your tax and financial activities.
