The State Revenue Department for the Beimbet Maylin District informs taxpayers that, in accordance with the amendments to the procedure for using cash registers, the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan (hereinafter referred to as the Committee) has developed a new Protocol for transmitting data from cash registers with the function of recording and/or transmitting data to the OFD server, version 2.0.3 (hereinafter referred to as Protocol version 2.0.3).
Protocol version 2.0.3 was published on the Committee's official website on June 20, 2025. Protocol version 2.0.3 provides a service for automatically connecting cash registers to the National Product Catalog and determining geolocation on the OFD side, which determines the exact location of the cash register.
In this regard, taxpayers using cash registers that are hardware and software systems must reprogram their cash register functions in accordance with Protocol version 2.0.3 by October 15, 2025.
Currently, cash registers that are hardware and software systems are updated automatically, without contacting Technical Service Centers.
Taxpayers using cash registers that are electronic devices with data recording and/or transmission functions (hardware cash registers) must reprogram their cash registers by November 15, 2025. To reprogram the cash register, please contact the cash register developers and the technical service centers.
We also inform you that Protocol version 2.0.2 of the OFD is scheduled to be disabled on November 17, 2025.
