On September 10, 2025, a round table was held in the village of Ayet on countering destructive religious movements and informing the population about the list of banned religious organizations in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
During the meeting, the following issues were considered:
Legislative bases of religious activity in the Republic of Kazakhstan;
The list of organizations recognized as extremist and banned in the country;
Recruitment methods and signs of radicalization;
The role of the family, educational institutions and society in the prevention of extremism.
Special attention was paid to the importance of proper religious literacy, the need to obtain knowledge only from official and registered sources, as well as work with young people.
