Having received an identity document or a foreign passport for a period of 10 years, many forget about its validity for many years. It would seem that the whole 10 years, but the day the document expires can sometimes be taken by surprise.
In order to avoid this situation, which may turn into an administrative fine, the Government for citizens asks Kazakhstanis to check the validity of their passports and identity cards, planning a visit to the Public Service Center in advance. To obtain a passport and an identity card, if this is not primary documentation, it is enough to come to any PSC, regardless of the place of registration and residence, and apply for new documents. In Kazakhstan, it is possible to draw up documents without reference to the place of residence in cases of change of name, damage to documents, loss and expiration of documents. And for persons who have reached the age of 16, that is, who receive a document for the first time, the service is provided at the public service center at the place of registration.
According to the new format for the provision of services in Public Service Centers, your visit must be booked in advance. This can be done in three ways: by calling the call center 1414, on the e-government website egov.kz or using telegrams - the EgovKzBot2.0 bot.
If you have a need to speed up the process of obtaining documents, then the issuance of an identity card can be provided expeditiously within 2 working days, not counting the day of registration. To do this, you need to notify the migration officer in advance when submitting your application.
