Scammers send fake "tax" notices

The State Revenue Department for the district of Beimbet Mailin warns of the increased facts of fraud related to sending notifications to taxpayers' e-mail.

Entrepreneurs who received fake notifications to their e-mail addresses "about debt collection to the budget at the expense of money held in bank accounts" applied.

     However, in accordance with tax legislation, notifications from state revenue authorities can be sent to the taxpayer in the following ways:

• by registered mail through a postal organization;
• electronically into a web application and/or a special mobile application;
• Through the Government for Citizens State Corporation.

     There are no other channels for sending notifications.

The State Revenue Department for the district of Beimbet Mailina urges citizens to be vigilant and follow simple rules. Do not disclose your personal data, bank card details to anyone, do not transfer transfer receipts, codes and code words, even to persons posing as employees of state revenue agencies, banks and others, and do not click on links.
