"Priorities of state policy in the religious sphere" - a dialogue platform with socially vulnerable residents of the village of Asenkritovka
On April 11, 2024, O.Nurgalieva, a member of the IRG on religious issues, held a dialogue platform with socially vulnerable residents of the village of Asenkritovka.
During the events, the participants were informed about the essence of the state policy in the field of religion aimed at peaceful interaction and coexistence of all faiths and ethnic groups living in Kazakhstan, the culture and spiritual heritage of the people of Kazakhstan, the perniciousness of destructive pseudo-religious and radical ideas. The purpose of this meeting is to increase religious literacy, prevent religious extremism and terrorism, and protect against negative influence on public consciousness by promoting cultural heritage and traditions. In the format of the dialogue, issues of the relationship between traditional spiritual values and religion were discussed as a solid basis for countering religious radicalism, examples were given, and the danger of visiting "dark sites" was voiced.
