"Kazakhstan is a secular state" - meeting in Sulu LLP
On October 05, 2023, in the village of Krasnoselskoye, a member of the district information group on religion O.Nurgalieva held a meeting with employees of Sulu LLP. The theme of the meeting is "Kazakhstan is a secular state".
The purpose of this event is to increase religious literacy and awareness in society and to prevent the involvement of the population in radical religious associations, to explain the principles of secularism and tolerance.
Olga Alexandrovna also spoke about the activities of pseudo-Islamic, destructive movements in Kazakhstan, about involvement in religious sects, about psychological violence and presented the differences between Islam and modern extremist movements masquerading as it in an accessible way. At the end, a member of the IRG touched on the topic of prevention of false anonymous messages, explaining the procedure for liability for violation of the law.
