The SAMK approved the calendar of religious days for 2023.

The Sharia and Fatwa Department of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kazakhstan approved the schedule of religious days for 2023. The start of the Hijri months was based on data from international centers for astronomical research.

Experts warn that the exact dates of religious holidays can be moved one day earlier or later due to the onset of the new moon.
