Today, one of the problems characteristic of all countries is corruption. Corruption permeates all spheres of society and manifests itself in a wide variety of forms and forms. Therefore, the fight against corruption in Kazakhstan is put on the state-political level and is under special control of the country's leadership.
At the same time, the fight and prevention of corruption in the state revenue bodies is also identified as one of the priority tasks that require special attention.
Nowadays, the concept of "corruption" is naturally associated primarily with public authorities and management, with civil servants and, especially, with officials endowed with discretionary powers.
Corruption today is a threat to the national security of states, a threat to the well–being and decent existence of the world society.
It is impossible to defeat such an evil as corruption only through the efforts of state and law enforcement agencies. At the same time, the efforts being made in the field of combating corruption are still not yielding the desired results. The ideal of corruption control has not been achieved. And this is not accidental, since we cannot completely defeat corruption, but we can keep it under control so that it does not go beyond the limit, in any case, so far we have to talk only about controlling corruption, and not about its complete eradication.
First of all, it is necessary to strengthen legal literacy, the formation of a mentality of hostility to corruption through education and campaigning actions and the improvement of legislation resulting from the above.
Paramount in this aspect are the implementation of the state anti-corruption program; improvement of national anti-corruption legislation; increasing the level of public confidence; strengthening the image of Kazakhstan on the world stage, identifying and neutralizing the most corruption-prone areas.
We need full participation, awareness of the need to combat this, the manifestation of intolerance and aversion to any facts of corruption of civil society institutions. Only by achieving the fulfillment of these tasks will it be possible to talk about the way to victory over corruption.
A positive role in combating corruption is provided by the introduction of the "electronic government" Program, which allows creating a full-fledged "feedback" of the state with the population through Internet resources.
A special place in the field of legal support for combating corruption is the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Combating Corruption".
This law, in accordance with modern anti-corruption priorities, takes into account that anti-corruption should be not only a permanent function of the state, but also the concern of the whole society, which is why the intention to create a stable nationwide framework for limiting, spreading and reproducing corruption.
The fight against corruption can be really effective if all members of society, without exception, take part in it, counting on universal support and understanding that this is our common cause.
