Recently, there have been reports of unknown individuals posing as employees of the State Revenue Committee making phone calls to taxpayers and misleading them.
The scammers claim that it is urgently necessary to confirm the type of business activity, update registration data, or complete mandatory verification via a mobile app, while convincing victims to download third-party apps, click on provided links, log in, enter SMS codes, digital signature data, or other personal information.
For example, scammers may claim that you need to download the e-Salyq mobile app or other apps to “confirm your business activity every two years,” threatening to suspend your business operations. This information is false and constitutes a fraudulent scheme.
The State Revenue Committee does not make such calls, does not request over the phone that you install mobile apps, provide verification codes, bank card details, digital signature keys, or passwords, or click on third-party links.
We ask citizens to be vigilant:
- Do not follow instructions from unknown individuals over the phone;
- Do not disclose SMS codes, passwords, or digital signature data;
- Verify information only through official State Revenue Committee sources.
If you receive such calls, it is recommended that you end the conversation immediately.
