On June 24, 2026, a large-scale Open Day was held at the State Revenue Office for the city of Taraz under the Department of State Revenues for Zhambyl Region as part of the “Law and Order” campaign, with the aim of providing legal assistance to citizens.
The main objective of the campaign was to explain tax legislation, increase public trust in tax authorities, and provide citizens with free legal consultations.During the event, residents received comprehensive answers from qualified specialists to their questions related to tax and customs legislation, as well as individual consultations.
In addition, explanations were provided on the tax obligations of individuals, procedures for paying property, land, and vehicle taxes, the use of electronic services, issues related to tax declarations, and the process of obtaining public services.
Participants were informed about the requirements of current legislation, tax benefits and obligations, and awareness-raising activities were conducted to improve legal literacy among the population.
The event was attended by Olzhas Suleimenov, an active social media user from the city of Taraz and an external expert, who emphasized the importance of the Open Day campaign. In his opinion, such meetings help citizens receive timely and accurate information about changes in tax legislation, improve their legal awareness, and strengthen interaction between government agencies and society.
