Transport tax Dear taxpayers! The State Revenue Department of East - Kazakhstan region informs you that car owners need to pay the transport tax for 2022 no later than April 1, 2023. Individuals can pay transport tax at their place of residence. The tax is charged by the state revenue authorities for the actual period of ownership, beginning from the 1st day following the acquisition of the ownership right of vehicle and until the end of the tax period, that is, until the end of the current year or until the 1st day of the month in which ownership was transferred. For passenger cars, the tax is based on engine size, for trucks – on the payload capacity, for a bus – on the number of seats. For motorbikes, the tax is based on the engine power. Car owners can find out the amount and pay the tax through the service "Upcoming payments" of the mobile application "E-Salyq Azamat". It is necessary that the mobile phone number is registered by IIN in the database of mobile citizens (PSC). Also, you can find out the amount on the Internet resource of the SRC MF RK http://kgd.gov.kz, through a chat bot (SalyqBot) in the Telegram channel and mobile banking applications.
