"On amendments to the customs legislation for the provision of the State service" Adoption of preliminary decisions on the classification of goods "

The State Revenue Department for the East Kazakhstan region informs you about current amendments and additions to the procedure for the provision of the State Service "Adoption of preliminary decisions on the classification of goods" made by state revenue bodies.

The amendments and additions affected the documents provided by the participants of foreign economic activity for obtaining the state service and time limits for obtaining the state service by the state revenue bodies, namely:

1. the participant of foreign economic activity must attach scanned copies of documents confirming the data and information about the product to the application in electronic form, which allow unambiguous classification of goods;
2. if the documents and information submitted by the applicant are insufficient for adoption a preliminary decision on the classification of the goods or incomplete, the state revenue authority sends a request for the need to provide additional information no later than five working days;

3.The terms for the provision of public services for adoption of a preliminary decision on the classification of goods by the state revenue authorities are:

- no later than 10 working days from the date of registration of an application for a public service;

- if such services were provided in respect of such goods with the same commercial name, trade name (trademark), such model, brand, with the same article and the same modification, the term of rendering the state service is no later than five working days from the date of registration of the application for the state service providing.

We also recall that presently, the acceptance of the application and the issuance of the result of the state services " Adoption of a preliminary decision on the classification of goods" is carried out through the NJSC "State Corporation Government for Citizens" , as well as through the web portal "electronic government" www.egov.kz.
