Commission of 20 December 2017 No. 107 (hereinafter - the Decision) provides for a reduction from 1 January 2020 in the norms within which goods for personal use sent in international mail, as well as delivered by the carrier to the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union, are imported without paying customs duties and taxes. These norms will be 200 euros and 31 kg. At the same time, the multiplicity (within 1 calendar month) of the movement of goods to the address of one individual will not be taken into account.
It should be noted that the above-mentioned norms of transportation apply only to goods for personal use. In respect of goods transported across the customs border of the EEU by individuals not classified as goods for personal use and imported for their use in business activities, the above-mentioned norms of transportation do not apply. Such goods are subject to movement across the customs border of the EEU in accordance with the commonly established procedure.
