On February 13, 2026, a working meeting was held at the Department of Passenger Transport and Highways of the East Kazakhstan Region with road carriers and bus station managers, attended by a representative of the Department of State Revenue for the East Kazakhstan Region.
During the event, Gulmira Sabralimova, Head of the Public Outreach and Contact Center Department of the State Revenue Department for the East Kazakhstan Region, highlighted the main changes introduced by the new Tax Code.
Participants were informed about updates regarding special tax regimes and transitional provisions, the calculation and payment of Corporate Income Tax (CIT), Individual Income Tax (IIT), social tax, and Value Added Tax (VAT), as well as changes related to the cancellation of the withdrawal and extension of deadlines for submitting tax reports. Particular attention was given to the taxation procedure under commission agreements.
In addition, participants were informed about the launch of the nationwide “People’s Accountant” campaign in the city of Oskemen starting January 5, 2026, under which taxpayers can receive consultation support.
At the end of the meeting, taxpayers had the opportunity to receive answers to their questions. Following the seminar, participants noted the practical value of the explanations and expressed their appreciation to the speaker for the constructive dialogue.
