Taxes are a necessary link in economic relations in society. The receipt of taxes is the main source of revenue for budgets of all levels and an effective tool for state regulation of socio-economic relations. The responsibility for ensuring the completeness of receipts lies with the state revenue bodies and the quality of their functioning largely determines the formation of the country's budget.
In 2021, the state revenue bodies of the North Kazakhstan region executed the State Budget revenue plan within the competence of the SRC by 105.7%. Thus, with the plan of 102.6 billion tenge, the budget received 108.5 billion tenge, which is 12.4% more than in 2020. In particular, the plan-forecast of the Republican budget was executed by 101.6%, the revenue amounted to 46.2 billion tenge. These figures exceeded last year's by 8.1%.
The local budget received 62.3 billion tenge, which is 15.8% higher than the 2020 level, and the plan was implemented by 109%.
The growth was achieved through the effective administration of taxpayers' activities, as well as through the identification of additional reserves. As a result of the work carried out, the budget received an additional 8 billion tenge.
The largest share of revenues to the Republican budget is the value-added tax on goods imported from the territory of the EAEU member states, its share is 41.7% or 19.3 billion tenge. In the Local budget, the largest share is taken by the individual income tax on income taxed at the source of payment, its share is 30.7% or 19.1 billion tenge, in second place is the social tax, its share is 22.5% or 14 billion tenge. These two sources account for 53.2% of revenues to the Local Budget.
The state revenue bodies of the North Kazakhstan region will continue to work to ensure the growth of revenues and the fulfillment of forecast indicators at all levels of the budget.
