The Department of State Revenue for the city of Shymkent, according to the action plan approved by the Akim of Shymkent Aitenov M. on interaction with authorized bodies and in order to ensure additional revenues to the budget for 2021-2024, as well as on the basis of a tripartite Memorandum of cooperation and interaction with the Police Department and the Regional Chamber of Private Bailiffs, since 04.11.2021, joint raid measures have been launched on the highways of the city to identify debtors of transport tax.
Also, a yard bypass has been started to collect property tax arrears.
In general, in Shymkent, the total amount of debt owed by individuals on transport tax is 1.2 billion tenge, including 968 million tenge, the principal amount of debt, a penalty fee of 232 million tenge.
According to the property tax, the total amount of debt is 732 million tenge, including 684 million tenge, the principal amount of debt, a penalty of 48 million tenge.
The total number of debtors is 111,109 citizens, for whom tax orders have been issued and submitted to the enforcement authorities for compulsory debt collection (to the regional chamber of private bailiffs).
In turn, private bailiffs, on the basis of a tax order, make arrests of bank accounts, real estate, and place motor vehicles of taxpayers who are indebted to the state in the impound lot.
Tax arrears can be checked through the e-Salyqazamat mobile application, Egov portal. and also through the mobile applications of second-tier banks. The Department of State Revenue in Shymkent urges taxpayers to pay their debts and not to subject themselves to compulsory collection measures.
