On October 1, 2022, the deadline for the payment of property tax by the owners of real estate and land plots for 2021 expires. Despite the fact that there is only a week left before the deadline for tax payment, another 139 thousand owners have not fulfilled their tax obligation.
In accordance with the tax legislation, notifications on the upcoming tax amounts were sent to the owners in July of the current year. In addition, notifications are sent repeatedly to users of the mobile application "JSC "Kaspi Bank" in the form of PUSH notifications.
Property tax for 2021 was calculated for 421 thousand taxpayers for a total amount of 600 million tenge.
At the same time, to date, about 139 thousand owners have not paid property tax in the amount of 166 million tenge for the tax period "2021".
In this regard, the Department of State Revenue of the Karaganda region reminds that from October 2, 2022, debtors will be notified of tax debts of individuals.
For amounts owed more than 1 MCI, thirty working days after the notification is served, a formed tax order on compulsory debt collection will be sent, which after 5 working days is transferred to private bailiffs for compulsory collection.
At the same time, private bailiffs, in addition to the amount of debt, additionally collect payments in the amount of up to 25% of the amount of tax arrears, not to mention the inconveniences caused by the arrest of accounts and restrictions on departure.
Thus, in order to avoid unnecessary costs and problems, we recommend making timely payment of property tax.
