Thus, in Kazakhstan since October 1, marking of tobacco products is mandatory, the circulation of which is possible only with the use of a 2D scanner. The marking of tobacco products takes place in 2 stages: from October 1, 2020, ordinary cigarettes with and without a filter are marked, from April 1, 2021 - cigars, cigarillos, sticks, e-liquids, etc. Marking is a special encrypted label on a product that contains detailed information about the manufacturer, a serial number and an anti-burglary code, the purpose of which is to protect the population from low-quality goods and reduce the share of illegal products on the tobacco market. The marking process is as follows: 1. The tobacco manufacturer requests marking codes from the Operator, receives them and applies Data Matrix to packs and blocks. The labeled products go to the manufacturer's balance sheet. 2.When goods are sold to a distributor, the Manufacturer through the labeling and traceability system transmits the Acceptance / Transfer Certificate to the Distributor. All block codes from the batch are taken into account in the Acceptance / Transfer Act. The distributor checks the marking codes and confirms the Acceptance / Transfer Act. 3. The distributor transfers the blocks to the stores. The store can check the goods in one of the following ways:• confidential check - without batch scanning, scanning of aggregation codes;• full - checks each batch. (Note that there is a generic code on each block / box that contains information about each pack). 4. After confirmation of the Act of acceptance / transfer of the IS Marking and Traceability of the Goods, he sees it - now the blocks have been written off from the Distributor's balance and transferred to the stores' balances. 5. When selling cigarettes to a retail buyer, the Seller scans the Data Matrix with a 2D scanner and sells the cigarettes. Then the online KKM sends data on the sale of fiscal data to the operator, and the OFD transmits them to the IS MPT (Information System for Marking and Traceability of Goods). 6. The pack was debited from the balance of the store.
