One of the functions of the State Revenue Republican State Institution "Main Dispatch Department of the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan" is the implementation of customs administration - a set of actions performed by state revenue bodies aimed at:
- checking and (or) ensuring compliance with the customs legislation of the Eurasian Economic Union and (or) the Republic of Kazakhstan;
- ensuring the completeness and timeliness of receipt of customs payments and taxes to the budget, as well as special, anti-dumping and countervailing duties;
- ensuring, within its competence, the protection of the sovereignty and economic security of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
- enforcement of the customs legislation of the Eurasian Economic Union and the Republic of Kazakhstan;
- creating conditions for speeding up and simplifying the movement of goods across the customs border of the Eurasian Economic Union;
- state regulation in the field of customs.
