Changes to the Tobacco Labeling Rules have been prepared for retail sellers
On the portal egov.kz "Open NPAs" published a draft order of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On amendments to the Order of the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated September 28, 2020 No. 927 "On approval of the Rules for labeling and traceability of tobacco products", which will be publicly discussed until October 15, 2021.
It is proposed to clarify the Labeling Rules that for organizations engaged in retail trade, there will be no mandatory requirements for the availability of: software and hardware complexes for transmitting information about the turnover of labeled tobacco products; CMC; scanning and recognition means of identification; contracts with the OFD.
The draft order is posted on the portal "Open NPAs" for public discussion until October 15, 2021.
