From January 1 to April 1, 2021, the budget received 19.7 billion tenge for the tax on vehicles of individuals. As of March 25, this year, 6.6 billion tenge was previously received, after sending push notifications about upcoming payments, 13.1 billion tenge was received. Such statistics were announced in the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The SRC also recalled that according to the amendments to the Tax Code, the tax on vehicles for 2020 had to be paid by individuals no later than April 1, 2021.
Starting from April 2, a penalty fee is charged for each day of delay.
Earlier, on March 30 of this year, on the Telegram channel https://t.me/kgdmfrk a survey was conducted on the transport tax. To the question: "How did you find out the upcoming amount of vehicle tax for 2020?» the respondents responded as follows:
- 36% of respondents found out the amount of tax using the mobile application " e-Salyq Azamat»;
- 30% using the bank's mobile app;
- 5% independently calculated using the Calculator in the mobile application " e-Salyq Azamat»;
- 21% of respondents independently calculated using a Calculator on the SRC portal;
- 8% preferred to go and get advice from the State Revenue Department.
Earlier, the SRC reported that this year, for the first time, it will send the upcoming payments on the vehicle tax before the payment deadline to the free mobile application of the SRC "e-Salyq Azamat".
The tax on vehicles of individuals for 2020 is calculated on the basis of information from the Administrative Police Committee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
