Since 2018, the State Revenue Committee has carried out a large-scale integration work with second-tier banks on debt service.
According to the Deputy Chairman of the SRC, Zhaydar Inkerbayev, as a result, taxpayers have the opportunity to check and pay arrears on tax and social payments using ready-made banking details in the mobile applications of second-tier banks, as well as the Taxpayer's Office, the SRC Portal, and the e-Government Portal.
"It is possible to view and pay the upcoming tax payments for individuals on property tax, land tax and vehicle tax," Zh.It is
noted that in 2020, more than 2.6 million push notifications on personal taxes were sent through banking applications. As a result, the service of upcoming payments received 2.9 billion tenge, or 44.8% of all income from property tax and land tax.
Information about the payment of taxes is received in the information systems of the SRC from second-tier banks online within 2 minutes, whereas previously information about the payment of taxes was received within 2-3 days. The reduction in the time required to receive information about tax payments made it possible to quickly provide public services. Also, the innovations made it possible to eliminate the requirement to provide documents confirming payment when releasing goods, to provide up-to-date information about the state of payments with the budget, not to charge penalties, not to issue collection orders, and to promptly remove the seizure from accounts.
