The Shyrganak medical polyclinic was built in 1963. In 2011, it underwent major repairs.
The paramedic-midwifery center in the village of Malaya Karkara was built in 2017 and commissioned in 2018.
In 11 months of 2022, 35 children were born in the Shyrganak rural district, 13 people died.
