On October 19-20, 2021, the Central Asian sub-regional Preparatory Conference for the 9th World Water Forum "water security for peace and development" was held in Dushanbe, organized by the Executive Committee of the International Fund for saving the island with the support of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and international development partners.

 

The purpose of the Central Asia preparatory sub-regional conference dedicated to the 9th World Water Forum (WWF) is to formulate and coordinate the regional agenda for this global event in accordance with its priority topics and the most important issues for the Central Asian region. The conference was held in a hybrid format: face-to-face and online. KazAID participation was held in an online format.
