KazAID Visited District Hospital in Enbekshikazakh District

 June 17, 2025, Enbekshikazakh District — A representative of the Kazakhstan Agency of International Development (KazAID), Tlek Tulkibayev, visited the Enbekshikazakh Multidisciplinary Central District Hospital as part of a working trip aimed at studying effective healthcare practices in Kazakhstan.

The main focus was on the activities of the WHO Demonstration Platform operating at the hospital. The platform promotes a multidisciplinary approach to primary healthcare: the collaborative work of general practitioners, nurses, psychologists, social workers, and program coordinators ensures comprehensive and continuous patient care.

Particular interest was given to digital solutions, including electronic health screenings, Face ID patient identification, digital monitoring, and integration with the Unified National Healthcare System. The delegation also explored approaches to integrating social and medical services, screening programs, and the development of health schools.

KazAID views such practices as a successful model for potential international knowledge transfer within the framework of official development assistance programs.
