This project is being implemented to support the people of Türkiye in overcoming the aftermath of the natural disaster. The initiative was proposed on March 16, 2023, at the Extraordinary Summit of the Organization of Turkic States in Ankara following the devastating earthquake of February 6, 2023. President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev directed the construction of a modern educational facility in Nurdağı, Gaziantep Province, an area severely affected by the earthquake.
To implement this directive, Government Decree No. 182 dated March 13, 2024, was adopted, designating KazAID as the project operator. Construction work on-site commenced in 2024.
