In 2025, the Agency continued work on the construction of a school in the Republic of Türkiye to provide support in overcoming the consequences of the natural disaster. The initiative was launched on March 16, 2023, at the extraordinary Summit of the Organization of Turkic States in Ankara following the devastating earthquake of February 6, 2023. The President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, commissioned the construction of a modern educational institution in Nurdagi, Gaziantep Province (Republic of Turkey), which was affected by the earthquake.
To implement the directive, the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan adopted Resolution No. 182 dated March 13, 2024, according to which the KazAID agency served as the operator. Samruk-Kazyna Construction JSC is an engineering company, and Integra Construction KZ LLP was selected as the general contractor. The project was funded by the Samruk-Kazyna National Welfare Fund.
The result of the joint work was the construction of a new school designed for 960 students. The educational institution includes 32 primary school classes and 4 pre-school classes. The facility is currently being prepared for commissioning, and its official handover to the Turkish side is scheduled for June 2026.
