Kazakhstan's mission was to provide systematic support to the Afghan people amid the humanitarian crisis and natural disasters. The assistance was carried out in several stages: 3.4 tons of medicines were delivered by air in the spring; 272 tons of food and basic necessities were shipped by rail (26 wagons) in the autumn.
In November 2025, responding promptly to the devastating earthquake, Kazakhstan sent a humanitarian mission consisting of 13 doctors, as well as 18 tons of special equipment. The humanitarian campaign resulted in saving lives and meeting the basic needs of thousands of people, which confirmed Kazakhstan's status as a key humanitarian partner in the region.
