In Topkayin Secondary School on the occasion of the birthday of the classic writer Kalikhan Yskak in the 11th grade there was an educational hour. The educational hour was based on an interview with journalist Gulzina Bektas in 2005 from Kalikhan Yskak. In this interview, the writer spoke about his life as a child, about his path to literature, cinema and theater. He also told about his participation in the creation of the Katon-Karagay State National Nature Park. On March 4, as part of the Decade of Primary Schools, Topkayin Secondary School hosted an expressive reading "Grandfather of the Alphabet" and an advertising campaign "The book I read" dedicated to the 150th anniversary of Akhmet Baitursynov. At the event, students recited A.Baitursynov's poems by heart, made a poster on the content of his fables and explained their content.
They also performed excerpts from books they read and sang songs during the advertising campaign.
