Power supply, heat supply, water supply and gas supply
Electricity generation in 2021 amounted to 15,728 million kWh , consumption - 18,978 million kWh , deficit covered by external energy sources - 3,250 million kWh.
As part of the investment programs, events are planned for the amount of about 65 billion tenge.
The measures are aimed at reducing wear and tear, reducing losses, reducing accidents and increasing the capacity of electrical networks, and reducing the operating costs of enterprises.
In 2021, as part of investment programs, it is planned to modernize 60 km of power lines and 96 units. substations.
As a result of the implementation of investment programs, by 2025 only 462.8 km of power lines will be modernized.
As the indicators achieved in the field of modernization of housing and communal services, a decrease in the level of depreciation of engineering networks since 2015 is noted:
from 61.5% to 56.9% for heating networks;
from 61.9% to 58.6% in electric networks.
In 2021, funds in the amount of 16.4 billion tenge were allocated for the implementation of 10 infrastructure projects in the field of heat supply. According to the results of the year, construction and reconstruction of about 30 km of heating networks were completed. The implementation of 2 socially significant projects has been completed:
- in the village Shakhan of the Karaganda region completed the construction of a centralized boiler house and main heating networks.
- in the city of Balkhash, the implementation of the project for the construction of the main heating network from the Balkhash CHPP to the microdistrict was completed . Konyrat .
The implementation of infrastructure projects in the field of heat supply has improved the quality of heat supply to about 200 thousand residents of the region's regions.
This year, funds in the amount of 10.4 billion tenge were allocated from all sources for the implementation of 7 projects in the field of heat supply.
It is planned to use the allocated funds to carry out construction and reconstruction of about 7.7 km of heating networks, as well as to continue work on the construction of a centralized boiler house in the city of Saran.
The total length of water supply networks is 6,257.1 km (in cities 3,498.7 km, in rural areas - 2,758.4 km) , water disposal - 2,356.6 km (in cities - 2,043.7 km, in rural settlements - 312.9 km).
Depreciation of water supply networks is 59.8%, sewage - 68.5% .
At the end of 2021, 234 km (100.2 km to cities, 133.8 km to rural areas) of water supply and sewerage networks were built and reconstructed.
Provision with centralized water supply in cities amounted to 98.5%, in rural areas 91.8%.
In 2021, 8,045,026 thousand tenge were allocated (Karaganda 3,350,000 thousand tenge Zhezkazgan 2,112,500 thousand tenge, Temirtau 2,022,852 thousand tenge, Saran 559,674 thousand tenge). At the end of 2021, work was completed on the construction of gas distribution networks for 1 start-up complexes in the cities of Zhezkazgan, Temirtau and Karaganda. In all three cities, the networks were transferred to the trust management of KazTransGas Aimak JSC. Thus, networks were connected to about 3 thousand houses (7 thousand consumers).
To date, 196 technical specifications have been issued for individuals (Karaganda city - 87; Temirtau city - 75; Zhezkazgan city - 34),
Today, 133 houses are connected to the gas supply in three cities (Karaganda 62 houses, Zhezkazgan 17 houses, Temirtau 54 houses).
In Karaganda, the construction work on the second start-up complex is at the stage of completion, and the development of a working project for 4,5,6 start-up complexes of the 1st stage is additionally underway.
Zhezkazgan city, the constructed networks of the second start-up complex of the 1st stage are being transferred to the trust management of KazTransGas Aimak JSC.

In all three cities, the construction of the 3rd launch complex will be completed in the 1st quarter of 2023.
Work continues on the construction of a gas supply pipeline to the city of Saran, to date, out of 18 km of the gas pipeline, 17 km have been installed and built.
The work is carried out in accordance with the schedule, there are no delays.
As part of the further gasification of the region, contracts were concluded for the construction of gas supply networks in the settlement of Atasu in the Zhanaarka district, the settlement of Osakarovka in the Osakarov district and in the city of Shakhtinsk.
For 2022, for gas supply projects, 9,114,419 thousand tenge are provided from the NF (Karaganda - 3,614,419; Temirtau - 2,500,000; Zhezkazgan - 3,000,000).
These funds will be directed to the construction of 3 launch complexes in Karaganda, Temirtau and Zhezkazgan.
Housing stock
The housing stock of the Karaganda region as of January 1, 2022 is 8,245 multi-storey residential buildings (with an area of 17,685 million sq.m.). In area 6 400 different forms of management of the condominium object, of which 176 OSI and 5900 PT, 284 KSK, 40 NSOs, registered condominium objects - 4,147 . In order to give a unified architectural appearance to cities and towns in 2021 , at the expense of local budgets , work was carried out to repair facades and roofs in 123 multi -storey residential buildings in the region , and 5 elevator equipment were also replaced on a return basis .
