According to the law of the Republic of Kazakhstan, upon reaching the age of 16, Kazakhstanis must receive their first identity card.
For registration of the certificate, one of the parents and the teenager himself apply to the PSC. You need to have three documents with you – a birth certificate of a teenager, an identity card of one of the parents, a receipt for payment of state duty, which is 0.2 MCI (636 tenge). If available, a passport is also provided.
When making a document, the presence of the child himself is mandatory. In addition, with different citizenship of the parents, a notarized application must be attached-consent from the parent of a foreigner for the child to receive documents certifying the identity of a citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The validity period of the certificate is 10 years.
