Efficient and systematic work is being carried out in the region to strengthen the rule of law.
At the end of 2021, the registration of ordinary crimes decreased by 5.2% (from 11,896 to 11,275).
The registration of the total number of grave and especially grave crimes decreased by 15 % (from 3183 to 2707), incl. serious crimes by 13.9 % (from 2928 to 2520) and especially serious crimes by 26.7 % (from 255 to 187).
There were 36.5 % fewer intentional homicides (from 85 to 54) and grievous bodily harm by 12.4 % (from 218 to 191 ), while the number of grievous bodily harm resulting in their death increased by 29.3 % (from 41 to 53 ).
From 80 to 58 , or 27.5 % , the registration of rapes decreased .
The number of registered robberies decreased from 274 to 174 or by 36.5 % and hooliganism from 207 to 127 or by 38.6 %.
The largest number of criminal offenses falls on the theft of other people's property - 4897 or 43.4 %. Their total number decreased by 15.6 % compared to the same period last year (from 5803 to 4897 ).
Decreased registration of burglaries by 23.2 % (from 1347 to 1034 ), livestock theft by 24% (from 129 to 98 ), car theft by 23.6 % (from 110 to 84 ), car theft by 22 % (from 59 to 46 ), pickpocketing by 9.5 % (from 126 to 114 ) and mobile phone theft by 4 % (from 1534 to 1473 ).
There is a decrease in the registration of criminal offenses committed in public places by 1.8% (from 3451 to 3389), by 4.7% (from 1419 to 1353) fewer registered criminal offenses committed on the streets .
6.8% fewer registered criminal offenses committed in the domestic sphere (from 118 to 110), 20.8% - in a state of alcoholic intoxication (from 742 to 588) and previously committed by 9.1% (from 1804 to 1640).
The number of traffic accidents decreased by 9% (from 532 to 484), injured of varying severity by 16.8% (from 638 to 531), while the number of deaths increased by 4.5% (from 154 to 161).
As part of general prevention, 32 operational and preventive measures were taken, and taking into account the daily analysis of the operational situation on the streets, 121 local working out to stabilize street crime in the most criminogenic places.
In order to increase the level of response to incoming messages, about 21 training sessions were held on typical street crimes such as “Robbery”, “Hooliganism” and “ Mass Fight”, which in turn has a positive impact on the disclosure of these types of crimes.
On the most accident-prone sections of roads, the service was additionally organized by mobile crews from among the employees of the patrol police regiment and other interested traffic police services.
In order to improve transport discipline among drivers, together with representatives of interested bodies and departments, including the media, targeted preventive measures and training were carried out (14 operational and preventive measures were carried out, such as "Bus", "Safe Road", "Safety on the road”, “Attention children”, “Motorcycle”, “Pedestrian”, “Drunk driver”, “Animal on the road”).
Work has been intensified to identify administrative offenses that have a preventive value.
Together with interested bodies, large-scale actions are carried out on a quarterly basis to create “zero tolerance” for offenses and disorder in society.
The indicators of work on identifying violations for the sale of alcoholic products to minors were increased by 1.1% (from 637 to 644), violations of the rules for landscaping by 4.6% (from 2111 to 22086), keeping cats and dogs by 14% (from 8074 to 9201).
