In 2021, the volume of investments in fixed assets amounted to 809.1 billion tenge, the physical volume index -112.1%.
In the structure of investments, the largest volume is directed to industry ( 61.5 %) , transport and warehousing (12.5%), real estate operations ( 11.2 %) , health care and social services (2%), wholesale and retail trade (1.2%) , education (1.3%) , construction (1.1%).
Over the past 10 years, investment in the mining industry has increased by 49%, in the manufacturing industry - by29%.
The main source of financing investments in fixed assets in 2021 was the own funds of enterprises - 71%, the share of budget funds was 12.4%, borrowed funds - 15.2%, bank loans - 1.2%.
The Council for Attracting Investments and Improving the Investment Climate of the Region has been established and is functioning in the region. The Council included investors, representatives of business, development institutions and government agencies.
In the region, on the principles of "one window", there is a service center for entrepreneurs, which houses consultants from the public service center, the investor service center, the Karaganda branch of JSC "KazAgroGarant", the operator for investment subsidies for agricultural enterprises of the Karaganda region, JSC "FRP "Damu", as well as representatives of service providers in the field of energy, water and heat supply.
In addition, a room for meeting and negotiating with investors (Show Room) has been created.
In order to regulate work with investors, the Procedure for supporting investment projects in the Karaganda region was developed and approved. The procedure provides for support of investors from the initial stage to bringing the launch of full production.
There is a specialized investment website of the region ( www.investinQ.kz ) in the region, where there is all the necessary information for the investor, in accordance with the requirements for the Internet portal of local executive bodies in terms of attracting investments.
