General Provisions
The Department for the Development of Languages of the Karaganda Region, in accordance with the action plan, in June 2020, is holding a regional competition "Tildaryn" among young people who are fluent in three languages.
The objectives of the competition:
- identification and support of young people who are fluent in three languages - Kazakh, Russian and English;
- improving language culture;
- propaganda of trilingualism.
Conditions of the competition:
The competition is held in Kazakh, Russian and English.
The competition is open to young people aged 21 to 35 years old who speak three languages ..
The competition consists of the following tasks:
1) «Сөзтаным» - find an obsolete word in this text and reveal the meaning of the word. There are 5 obsolete words hidden in the text. You need to find this word within 1 minute using the fast reading technique and pronounce the meaning of the word in Kazakh. The word in which the meaning is correctly revealed is taken into account and considered correct;
2) «Ойтаным» – answers to questions about the history and outstanding personalities of the Kazakh people, the Kazakh land and its regions in Russian (3 minutes);
3) «Елтаным» – answers to questions about the country in English (2 minutes).
When assessing the jury is guided by the following requirements:
1) level of language proficiency;
2) correct pronunciation of orthoepic norms in three languages;
3) content, quality and originality of answers;
The winners of the competition are awarded, in accordance with the decision of the jury, with diplomas, letters of thanks and cash prizes.
The winner represents the Karaganda region at the republican competition.
