According to the results of 2024, the provision of the population with sports infrastructure per 1,000 people in the region amounted to 66.6% (the plan for 2025 is 67.2%). The national indicator is 52%.
The number of sports facilities has grown to 1,301 units (+54 units), of which 313 units are located in rural areas.
The construction of 4 sports facilities continues this year.:
- FOC for 210 seats in Priozersk (cost - 877.7 million tenge, completion - 2025);
- FOC for 150 seats in the village of Aktas, Saran (cost - 1 billion 164.8 million tenge, completion - 2025);
- FOC in the village of Karagaily, Karkaraly district (cost - 518.1 million tenge, completion - 2025);
- Stadium in Karkaralinsk (cost - 356.8 million tenge, completion - 2025)
The implementation of 3 new projects within the framework of the Auyl-El Besigi program has begun.

- in the village of Koktas, Karkaralinsky district (allocated from the Republic of Belarus - 300 million tenge);
- in the village of Kushoky, Bukhar-Zhyrau district (allocated from the Republic of Belarus - 330 million tenge);
- swimming pool in the village of Aksu-Ayuli, Shet district (allocated from the Republic of Belarus - 300 million tenge).
Reconstruction of the central Shakhter stadium has also begun (cost – 1,786 million tenge, completion - 2026) and construction of a sports complex in Sarani is underway (cost - 910 million tenge, completion - 2026).
The construction of prefabricated modular sports facilities is underway at the expense of extra-budgetary funds.
- in the village of Moynty, Shet district, at the expense of Varumipid LLP;
- in the city of Balkhash at the expense of the Kazakhstan Khalkyna Fund;
- sports and recreation complexes in Karaganda "Amanat" and "Ozhet" (near the ski resort).
A memorandum of cooperation was signed between the office of the Federal Tax Service of the region and the corporate foundation "Freedomshapagat" for the implementation of the project "Construction of a football academy in Karaganda" (stadium with 5,000 seats, indoor football arena, dormitory, outdoor football field), as well as an agreement with the Akimat of the region on the implementation of social projects with Kazakhmys Corporation LLP, in particular in particular, the "Construction of a sports and recreation complex" in Balkhash, the start of construction and installation work starting in 2026.
293.2 million tenge is provided for the current repair of 13 sports bases of subordinate organizations.
