The largest part of the city's investment is accounted for by the city-forming enterprises of the Coal Department of JSC "ArcelorMittal Temirtau", which accounts for 81% of the total investment.
The volume of investments in fixed assets in the Shakhty region as a whole in January-December amounted to 21 billion 279.6 million tenge, or 67.6% compared to the same period last year (the fact of 2019 - 31 billion 490.3 million tenge). The physical volume index is 67.3%.
The reason for the decrease in the indicator was the redirection of funds of JSC "ArcelorMittal Temirtau" to measures for compliance and ensuring sanitary safety related to COVID 19.
In order to attract potential investors and implement investment projects, a map of vacant land plots and empty production facilities has been developed, as well as the issue of available connection points to free capacities has been worked out. This information was sent to JSC " NC " SEC "Saryarka" and posted on the online Map of the Karaganda region (interactive map).
